  • Describe a risk that you have taken and discuss its impact on your life

    As the note suggests to be creative & thoughtful, you could contemplate on a event from either professional, personal or even community life where you significantly decided to leap forward with risks & uncertainties, but still emerged. For example---You are a team lead of a project in a consulting project, the decision you took to replace a resource with another new recruit ,as the concerned employee didn’t meet requirements ,deadlines etc. in spite of repeated reminders ,so the Risk of a new recruit at the time, training him & making him ready to deliver. The impact here always has to be shown in terms of takeaways ---what you learnt, how it has shaped you. Usually if you win over a risk, the outcome is more confident about your decision making capacity, so highlighting this attribute, as the panel wants to see your maturity here. Impact on life, so present a broader pic of how this event has shaped you take decisions in the other areas of your life. The alternative question for this could be describe a difficult decision you took & why was it challenging

The Scheller school want you to be Imaginative /Creative here. Trade places here is –exchange places--roles with someone, describe with whom, you would exchange i.e the reasons for switching (may be aspire to become like her/him) & why. Here the panel wants to see your Thought Process, How do you view & weigh your Career /Personal Goals & their Heights. This is a metaphorical representation of yourself, by taking someone else's life as a inspiration. Explain the why part well, as if you are waiting for this to be true.

How you have arrived at this point & timing of your career graph, where there is a need of a MBA & why MBA.Frame & explain your personal statements –short term & long term goals well. Why Georgia is –the Georgia advantage –the centers & initiatives, programs, etc.,& the Reasons why the candidate have chosen the institute over others, also focusing on the “fit” for both here. Explaining well on how Georgia will help you accelerate your goals faster.
